These three directors appeal to me for many different reasons. There are a couple more filmmakers that I want to add to this list, but this is more than enough for now. I have admired their films for a lifetime and attempted to write about them before. However, I feel like I can finally give their work the time and understanding it deserves, and I cannot wait to start this project.
